Mr. Independent

15 months old, and so very independent..... Seems like as soon as he figured out the walking thing, he also figured out that being independent is much cooler than having help. So it's been a struggle, finding a happy medium for all us when it comes to feeding, playing (especially play group activities) and just plane old basic survival.  As you can see in the picture above, that our little boy likes to eat his sandwiches whole, cut up pieces are for babies, I guess....  He loves to use his spoon or fork to eat as well, but only if he is able to hold onto them.  It's just not cool to have Mommy and
Daddy feeding me anymore. He would rather climb up the stairs then being carried up. Closing doors and turning off and on light switches, yep you guessed it... those are his jobs. He's also starting to figure out how to climb on things to get to something else. Makes for interesting days now, chasing this little monkey around. Never a dull moment. There are times each day when I think about how "easy" life was "back then" before we had a crawler/walker, but then I think how fun it is to watch him explore and learn.  Below are just a few photo's of our very independent little Peanut.

Pretty sure the spaghetti won this battle
