Hunter's Big Day !!!!!!!

After many days of waiting, we have finally found a few minutes to upload some pictures of Hunter's Big Day into the world and our adventures at the hospital. We were all finally able to come home on Thursday night, and what a relief it was to finally be at home. So far we've been home for 2 days now, and other than a few melt downs yesterday afternoon Hunter has been such a blessing to have with us. He's currently sleeping through the night or until we have to wake him up for his feedings, and is very calm and exteremly alert. The dogs have taken amazing well to the big chances and are both very calm and courious of the little guy. Sierra especially has become the watch dog. When Hunter makes a noise, she is the first to respond and check things out. Enjoy the pictures below ( warning-some pictures maybe a little graphic)

Me, about to check into the hospital on Sunday March 7, 2010 ( 40 weeks, and on our due date)

"PEANUT" UPDATE: 4:15PM MARCH 8TH, 2010

WELL, IT HAD BEEN ALMOST 24 HOURS SINCE WE FIRST ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL LAST NIGHT. PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE SINCE THEN. IT HAS BEEN SLOW GOING TO SAY THE LEAST. TINA WAS PUT ON A CERVIX RELAXER LAST NIGHT WHEN WE ARRIVED IN THE HOPES OF HER DILATING MORE. IT DIDN'T WORK ALL THAT GREAT BUT MADE A LITTLE PROGRESS. AROUND 8:30AM THEY PUT HER ON POTICIN (SP?) TO START THE INDUCING PROCESS. AROUND 11ISH THE DOCTOR CAME IN TO VISIT AND BROKE HER WATER. ON THE LAST EXAM, SHE HAD DILATED TO ALMOST A 4. WE CONTINUE TO SEE THINGS PROGRESS AND THIS IS WHAT IS NEEDED TO KEEP ON THE CURRENT COURSE OF ACTION.
SORRY FOR THE BRIEFNESS IN INFORMATION BUT IN ORDER TO GET A SIGNAL TO USE, I HAD TO GO OUTSIDE ON A PATIO BENCH. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THERE ISN'T ANY POWER OUT THERE. I WILL UPDATE HOPEFULLY ONE MORE TIME TODAY, SO KEEP WATCHING. HOPEFULLY, IT WILL BE THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF OUR BABY BOY "PEANUT" HAS ARRIVED.
I ALSO WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR THOUGHTS, PRAYERS AND CONCERNS DURING THIS LIFE CHANGING EVENT FOR TINA AND MYSELF. WE ARE VERY GREATFUL TO HAVE SUCH WONDERFUL AND LOVING FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
THANK YOU!!!!
LOVE,
TINA, GREG, "PEANUT', SHELBY & SIERRA.

"Peanut" Update - 9:30pm March 7th, 2010

DUE TO COMPUTER SIGNAL PROBLEMS, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO UPDATE AS OFTEN AS WE HAD HOPED. THIS IS THE POST I TRIED TO UPLOAD LAST NIGHT.

WE HAVE ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL.

TINA HAS BEEN CHECKED IN AND IS HOOKED UP TO ALL THE MONITORS. TINA WILL RECIEVE THE POTICIN AT 5AM IF NOTHING HAS BEGUN TO HAPPEN ON IT IS OWN. WE ARE BOTH VERY EXCITED AND ANXIOUS TO SEE OUR LITTLE GUY.
CONTINUE TO KEEP US IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.
LOVE,
TINA, GREG, "PEANUT", SHELBY AND SIERRA

39- Week Update on Peanut

Well, here we are week 39 and still no Peanut....... We did go to the Doctor yesterday and saw a glimer of hope and light at the end of this journey. I've made a little progress .5 cm dilated compared to last weeks 0 cm. (YIPPY) Our Doctor suggested that if nothing happens this week naturally that she would go ahead and schedule to start the inducing process on Sunday night ( 7:00 pm check-in) Sunday night if not much has changed, they will give me a drug to help prepare me for the process of induction. Then on Monday morning they will start the actual drug for the induction. So our little "Peanut" will enter this world at somepoint on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

Are we ready you ask?????? I think so, the news of the induction hit me with a flurry of nerves and excitment, but I'm READY....... It's been such an easy pregnancy, ( no morning sickness, very little moodyness, or complaining ) but my new favorite thing is laying on the couch each night watching my stomach make waves... I will have to say I'm going to miss that part of the day. Greg and the nurse yesterday got a kick out of Peanut and his big movements while trying to nail down his heart beat. The littl stinker wanted nothing to do with that, and kept wiggling around. She finally gave up and said, he sure is moving alot- must be a healthy one. But overall we're both ready for this part of the journey to end, and the next phase of life to being. We've taken the classes, read the books, packed our bag, and double checked our lists... So let's get this show on the road.......

We ( Greg) will be keeping you all updated this next week- as our progress continues.......
