Random Cuteness

Ready for Church.....
Helping with the garden
found something pretty interesting int the garden !!!!
Look who's wearing "big" boy pants....... A few weeks ago we attempted some Potty Training Boot Camp. However, it didn't really go over so well. He loved where his Thomas undies, but 2 seconds after you took him off the potty he would make a mess. We're not giving up on the thought of No more diapers, we're just taking it a little slower.
Doing the Potty Dance !!!!!
Camped out side the bathroom.......

Summertime Fun

A taste of pure yumminess !!!!!! Hunter's first Popsicle
Brrrrr, that's cold !!!!!
One sweaty and sticky little boy !!!!!
Catch me if you can........

Fort Worth Stockyards

A blast from the past....... After our adventure with Thomas the Train, we had made plans to meet up with Greg's boss and his family at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Silly me was thinking we would be seeing something like a rodeo, not realizing it was a small part of Fort Worth that never left the Wild West times from years past. But within a few minutes I started thinking "man this place looks familiar" Years, and Years, and Years ago we were on a family trip from Colorado, down through Texas and followed the coast to Florida, where we spent some time here in Fort Worth. Crazy......
This was the "BIG" attraction to the Stockyards. The Cattle Call...... Let me just start by saying if you blink you will miss it.......  Hunter enjoyed seeing the cows and cowboys, so I guess it was worth it.
Hunter with his friend Madalynn riding the horses. First time Hunter would actually sit on them without freaking out, and they actually got to ride them. ( several times) I guess it takes having a "big" kid with you to get the "little" kid to try something new. Thanks Madalynn :)
Loving the horses so much, we had to keep telling him we would find more just to get him back in the stroller. ( Shhhh, don't tell him our secret)

A Day Out With Thomas

What could make a 2 year old and his Daddy both EXTREMELY happy !!!!! Yep, you guessed it, Thomas the Train up close and in person and surrounded by hundreds of other Train enthusiast. A couple of weeks ago we took a road trip to Dallas to see and ride on Thomas. And weeks later, our little man is still talking about his ride of Thomas, and his tattoo he got.
Our morning started off with a quick trip to Walmart to find a jacket and some pants for Hunter. Silly Mommy didn't check the weather reports before leaving and only  packed shorts and short sleeved shirts. Then we headed off to see Thomas. Talk about a super excited little guy, that is until he saw Thomas for the first time, and the size was a little over whelming and Hunter got a little scared, but once we were on board we were all smiles. So the train ride was about 45 minutes long, the conductor came through and punched our tickets, they played silly Thomas the Train songs and made us all clap and sing along.
Just about to pull out of the station

Hunter's first Tattoo. It didn't go over so well at first, but quickly became the biggest highlight of the weekend. Hunter had to show everyone his tattoo. Such a cutie pie !

Easter 2012

Happy Be-Lated Easter, and by Be-lated I mean almost a month late.

We planted jelly beans the night before Easter, and this is what "grew"

Yicks, I'm so behind on blogging it's not even funny. Well, okay maybe it's a little funny thinking about how I'm going to get caught up. After all it has been one crazy crazy month for us, hence the lack of updates. And because I'm so behind I'm allowing these pictures which uploaded all out of order to be posted out of order.
April came and went with a blink of the eye. Greg did some traveling (2 weeks gone) in which I had every intention of blogging while he was gone. But seemed to always find other projects to entertain myself while he is away. For instance, finding more "honey do " items.
The Easter Bunny hid his basket, and he found it in about 20 seconds
After 2 Egg hunts before Easter, we kept our Easter Sunday pretty low key this year. We hid some eggs in the back yard, planted some jelly beans in the garden, and did lots and lots of yard work. We built 2 big garden boxes and 1 smaller one and then filled them with 3 yards of dirt. Hunter had a blast helping with moving the dirt from the drive way to the back yard. He did so well that weekend with staying right with us while up front and when he wasn't pulling dirt in his wagon he was watering the back yard for us. Lots of dirt, sweat, and sun burns but it was a great family weekend.

Our neighborhood hosted an Egg hunt the weekend before Easter. It took Hunter awhile to figure out that the eggs were meant to be picked up and put in his basket. Then he realized that they opened and had treats inside. And of course he didn't want anything to do with the Easter Bunny, so I had to get in the middle of that picture.
Like I said before, the pictures are completely out of order, this is us planting some jelly beans the night before Easter.
Happy Easter !!!!
